Mother (Voice & Piano)

This song is very close to my heart. I wrote the first verse for my mother just before she died of cancer. She'd had multiple strokes and couldn't speak, but as she listened to it, tears rolled down her cheeks. Once she passed away, the second verse came to me the night before her funeral. My sisters and I sang it at her funeral with my brother accompaning.
